   Introduction - Diploma in Cataloging & Classifiction
  An introduction to the organization of recordable knowledge, with emphasis on library cataloguing and classification. The Student will be able to identify and discuss the functions of the library catalogue. Discuss the impact of cataloguing decisions on patron access to library materials, create bibliographic descriptions of library materials & locate, interpret and use technical documentation.
