This course has been designed to help reduce the shortage of suitably trained public safety managers. The Public Safety Management stream allows students to develop the technical and managerial skills increasingly required by industry. Environmental problems are tackled using sound scientific principles and all students study anatomy, toxicology and earth sciences to provide a strong basis for further study. In the Public Safety Management stream, emphasis is paced on occupational health, tackling issues such as noise, vibration, stress and ergonomics. |
