This course is intended for students who are interested in studying the fundamentals of microwaves and their applications. Examples of current applications of microwave technology like wireless communications (Cellular telephone, long-distance telephone, satellite, LAN), remote sensing and GPS radar and weather prediction, plus medical, domestic and industrial uses. In today’s changing economy, the microwave and wireless engineering industry is moving away from traditional military applications and toward commercial opportunities.
