      Career Opportunities
There has been ongoing expansion in the industrial healthcare sector in recent times. This development has resulted from the significant advances that have been made in the understanding of biological sciences. A workforce is required that is equipped with scientific knowledge, particularly in molecular and cellular biology, and is trained in the technology that enables society to benefit from the advances in biological research. Students will find employment in the pharmaceutical sector, in industries that produce medical therapeutics, diagnostics and healthcare devices.
