This course is designed to meet the needs of students who are seeking preparation for higher degree research in Portuguese history, but it will also be of interest to graduates who want to pursue an interest in Portuguese history at postgraduate level for personal or professional reasons. It draws on the expertise of an interdisciplinary group of scholars, including specialist historians of international standing. The emphasis of the course is on social, economic and cultural history.
