   Introduction - PG Diploma in Bioinformatics
  The objective of P.G. Diploma in Bioinformatics is to provide an intensive and up-to-date learning in the emerging area of Bioinformatics. The program provides a basic to advance level of expertise in Bioinformatics and its usage in the industry. The diploma intends to provide competence in computational biology/bioinformatics in the areas of basic biology, computer science, statistics and bioinformatics to graduates from diverse backgrounds. This accompanied by intensive courses on all aspects of modern biology and exposure to various experimental techniques.
