   Introduction - M.Sc. (Anthropology)
  The anthropology studies provide a high quality education to enable students to understand and participate in a culturally diverse and changing world. Our goal is to meet the educational needs of our students in order to enable them to become competent and contributing members of an increasingly global society. We believe that anthropology is crucial in this endeavor, giving students the means to understand the variety of human experience and especially to develop a critical perspective on their own society.

     A career in anthropology provides the opportunity to explore the relationship between cultures and people, and to gather and analyze data that deals with social organization and interaction. Jobs for students with degrees in Anthropology are available in many different areas, depending on the emphasis developed within the major. Jobs are available in contract archaeology, community services, education, research, museums, and - to a certain extent - business, industry, and government areas where cross-cultural concerns are important.
