      Career Opportunities
Demand for graduates is high and there are opportunities in private sector consultancies, government departments and local authorities. Work can range from large-scale urban and countryside planning to small-scale projects in garden or park design. It may include the design of housing, urban parks, retail developments, and rural recreation and industrial sites, which could involve related environmental fields such as environmental assessment and nature conservation. The degree also equips graduates for further professional study in fields other than pure landscape design, such as landscape ecology, or for academic research into landscape design, science or management.
